Newsletter 24-19: Summer Leader Development

Summer time is a great time to invest into leadership development. If your team is 'quiet" (insert issue here - quitting, vacationing, etc), it's time to look inward and see what you can do differently.

If you want to stop feeling like your employees don’t care about their jobs or your company, then here are 3 things you can do right now to bring effectiveness to your leadership

  1. work with an EQ master practitioner. They are going to help you understand your employees on a whole new level and you’ll be able to figure out the best way to get them engaged in their jobs and in your company
  2. Create an alignment of individual motivators and values to your company’s mission and goals. If you can figure out the one thing that makes the employee see their value in your company, they will lean into that alignment
  3. Get vulnerable. Yeah, that’s the tough one. I know. You must quit thinking you need to do it all. You must hire people smarter than you and let them lift you up. You must be ok with your own shortcomings and let people know you’re human. If they see you are ok with learning and growing, they will be too.
